Sunshine Bus to Add Blue and Red Lines to Phase 2 Limited Service

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida – The Sunshine Bus Company will be adding the Blue and Red lines into its current Phase Two (2) limited service operation as a continued cautious approach to provide public transportation service during the close monitoring of our COVID-19 pandemic.

The Blue and Red lines will begin service on Monday, August 3rd, 2020. These seven (7) Sunshine Bus routes will operate from Monday – Saturday each week during this phase:

  1. Conn-Ex – This new route combines the existing Connector and Express lines into one route. The new route will begin further in the south by SR-206 and travel as far north as Palencia before heading back south again. The new schedule will be available on the Sunshine Bus website at https://sunshinebus.net/schedules-phase-2/
  2. Circulator – This route will run its normal schedule.
  3. Blue – This route will run its normal schedule.
  4. Green This route will run its normal schedule.
  5. Orange This route will run its normal schedule.
  6. Red – This route will run its normal schedule.
  7. Teal This route will run its normal schedule.

Note: The updated version to the Phase 2 Schedules will be available online to print.

During Phase 2, all passengers will be required to wear a mask. If passengers do not already own a mask, they can purchase one from the Driver(s) for $1.00.

Additionally, all passengers must maintain a six-foot distance from other passengers; each vehicle will be restricted to 10 occupants (including the driver).
